Quaker congregations in the U.S. usually meet once a month to conduct issues of business.  Hence, we call these groups monthly meetings.  But if you want to use the term church, we're happy with that.  These local groups also gather four times a year for business, worship, and friendship.  Thus, the Quaker meetings in Gloucester, Salem, Cumberland, and Cape May counties comprise Salem Quarterly Meeting.  Philadelphia Yearly Meeting holds annual sessions each summer, where it gathers Friends from southeastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, Delaware, and the eastern shore of Maryland.
